This particular table is #001 in the collection, with base design version 1.0. This is a very special table, as it is not only #001, but the oak is from a tree that was about 150-175 yrs old! About 8 years ago, I was able to salvage the lower 10 feet from this massive tree, before the owner had it hauled away. Although all of the timber from that beautiful tree deserved a second life as artwork, I was only capable of hauling and storing very small amounts back then. Very few pieces have been made from this special wood, all have been for for family…that is, until now!

Ben made a beautiful set of side tables for us. The quality and beauty is unparalleled. The woods and epoxy he chose were gorgeous. In the process of shipment, UPS destroyed the box and must have dropped it from a distance. The table was well packed, however, it cracked. Ben worked with us on replacement options and ultimately made a replacement table for us. I would highly recommend Ben and his Sycamore Road products.
